In the spirit of Theodore Roosevelt's adventurous legacy, the Roosevelt Leather Travel Padfolio in dark oak is the blend of refinement and resilience. Crafted from full-grain water buffalo leather with a leather and suede interior, it is the padfolio for the man who still takes notes by hand.
Inside, it holds a standard 8.5 by 11.75 writing pad in the slot on the right, or a planner or calendar on the left. Two credit card slots, an ID or business card slot, and a map slot keep the small things in order, and open leather pockets on both sides hold documents, a boarding pass, or a folded contract. Nylon stitching holds it all together for years of meetings and miles.
Closed it measures 12.5 by 10 inches, open 12.5 by 20.5. Dark Oak is the deeper, more uniform brown in the Roosevelt lineup. It ages with quiet character, deepening rather than lightening.

Open leather pockets on the left and right hold documents, a boarding pass, or a folded contract.
| Best For | The professional who takes meeting notes by hand and wants leather instead of a plastic clipboard. The traveler who wants documents, cards, and a pad in one piece. The gift-giver buying for a graduation, promotion, or new job. |

| What Fits | A standard 8.5 by 11.75 writing pad, a planner or calendar on the facing side, two credit cards, business cards or an ID, a folded map or itinerary, and loose documents in the side pockets. Pen loop not included; most pens clip to the pad. |
| Care | Wipe with a dry cloth. Condition lightly with a neutral leather conditioner once or twice a year. Light natural scratching is normal for this leather and blends into the patina. |

This full-grain water buffalo leather is susceptible to light natural scratching. It is normal and expected, and it blends into the patina as the leather ages.
Same water buffalo hide, same construction, same hardware. Amber Brown is a warmer, lighter tone that develops a more visible patina over time. Dark Oak is a deeper, more uniform brown that ages with subtlety.
A one year warranty covers stitching, hardware, and structural defects. Normal patina, scratches, and wear marks are not covered because they are part of how the leather is meant to age.

"I really like the look of this portfolio. I recently accepted a position as a professor at a local university, and I purchased it because I thought it looked great. I've also purchased other Buffalo Jackson products over the years and have always been impressed with their quality and attention to detail. Overall, I'm very happy with this portfolio. My only concern is that, within the first couple of weeks of owning it, I noticed the dye had rubbed off in a few areas. I'm not sure if this was caused by moisture from a surface where I set it down or something else. I take good care of my belongings, and I'm confident the portfolio had an even finish when I first received it. This isn't a deal breaker for me. In fact, I actually like the character and uniqueness that leather develops over time. However, if you're someone who prefers your leather goods to remain pristine and uniform in appearance, it's something to keep in mind. I'll be interested to see how it continues to age and develop a patina over the years."

"Classy and sets just the right tone. Love the look and feel of this padfolio"

"High quality top grain leather throughout. I had mine laser engraved with my logo and it attracts colleagues as it speaks for itself."
— Ron B. (5/5)
"But not great either. Aesthetically, the leather looks and feels great. Layout inside is pretty good. Of the 3 sections on the left interior there really is only one section for papers, one for a tablet, and then one for maybe smaller papers like a bill in an envelope or something. The pen holder in the middle binding is useless unless you’re ok with it not closing all the way. I tried different size pens and it wouldn’t close all the way with any of them. Overall I am happy with the purchase outside of the price. Somewhere between $120-$150 and this would be a much better buy. But I’m sure I’ll get years of use out of it either way."
— Brent S. (3/5)
"Absolutely love this item."
