Our directions were clear: be saddled and ready to ride well before sunrise. Our goal was to ride through the Yaak Valley as the sun crested the peaks. It was exciting and cold. I was grateful for my wool shirt jac. "It's heavier than I expected but I like it. Appears to be well made and I love the fit. Unfortunately, it's been too cold here to really wear it much and it doesn't work well as a mid-layer. I think it'll be a great spring/fall jacket and that's what I wanted it for anyway."
