Sturdy
"Fits great, is well constructed, and the (L) runs true to size. I’m 5'9", 200 lbs, and it wears exactly as a jacket should—comfortable, structured, and with enough room to add additional layers when the weather calls for it."

If you look closely, you’ll see them in old faded photographs of men out west riding horses, sometimes even motorcycles. Nowadays, they’re seen cruising around in a vintage land rover.
These “riding jackets” were form-fitting for one thing, and they always fall a little below the waistline. As to that first aspect, you don’t want to lose body heat, so you keep the coat close. As to the second, when you ride, you sit, and a longer hem ensures your backside stays covered.
We updated our Wesley Wool Jacket with those two factors in mind: it fits close to keep you warm, and should you find yourself riding, for example, well, we’ve got you covered. We added the element of wool, that classic cold-weather fabric, for a trifecta of a jacket.

"Don't overthink the other reviews about sizing, although comments on the cut are more accurate. It's a boxy cut 100%, but that's what I'm looking for in an outer coat. With that in mind I'm 6'0", 175lb, 42" chest and medium fits exactly like I would expect. Quality is ok for the price."

"Excellent quality, true to size. Definately recommend it."

"A nice and good all around coat with a bit of sophistication"

"This was a gift for my son. Perfect fit. He loved it."
— Irene M. (5/5)
"Great winter coat, comfortable. But heavier weight than I expected from the ads. More a coat than jacket."
— David I. (4/5)
"This jacket is exactly what I wanted. Great fit in the shoulders with tons of space for layers underneath. I can tell I can take this out on the coldest of nights and it’ll hold up. The craftsmanship of the jacket is exceptional with pockets in all the right places. My only quibble is the Buffalo tab sewn into the seam. I get that it’s there for branding but to me it was like a footprint in perfectly poured concrete, so I cut it off. Overall this is one of the best jacket purchases I’ve ever made."
— Tim F. (5/5)
"I usually wear an XL. The reviews led me to size down to a L. That was a mistake. I returned it for an XL."
— Chad C. (5/5)
"Loved it but had to return due to quality control"
