Inspired by the relentless spirit of Theodore Roosevelt, rancher, soldier, and explorer, this larger version of the Roosevelt Pilot Bag is made for the man who never travels light, in purpose or in miles.
Handcrafted from full-grain water buffalo leather with a brown canvas-lined interior and antique brass and iron hardware, it carries the heritage build of the Roosevelt collection in a bigger travel-first silhouette. At 19 inches long, 11.5 high, and 5.5 wide, it holds a 17-inch laptop in a padded sleeve along with clothes, books, and everything else you need for a weekend off-grid or a few extra days on the road.
Four buckled exterior pockets offer quick access to the essentials: tools, chargers, a weathered field journal. Inside, a roomy main compartment and a zippered pocket keep the rest organized. Dark Oak is the deeper, more uniform brown in the Roosevelt lineup. It ages with quiet character, developing a rich patina at the corners and buckled pockets with use.

A pilot bag, or flight bag, is a travel-first carry built around quick-access exterior pockets and a roomy main compartment. The Large adds a padded sleeve for laptops up to 17 inches.
How is the Large different from the standard Pilot Bag?
The Large is 19 inches long, 11.5 high, and 5.5 wide, against 16 by 10 by 5 for the standard Pilot. It fits a 17-inch laptop where the standard fits a 15-inch, and weighs about a pound more.
Will my laptop fit?
Yes, up to a 17-inch screen laptop. The padded sleeve measures 15.5 by 8.5 inches.
Is it carry-on size?
Yes. At 19 by 11.5 by 5.5 inches it fits any overhead bin, and the soft sides let it slide under many airline seats as a personal item. Check your airline's personal item limits before you fly.
How does the leather age?
Dark Oak water buffalo leather develops a deep, even patina with daily use, darkening at the handles and corners rather than lightening. Light scratching is normal and adds character.
What's the warranty?
