Here’s how to get accurate measurements:
Length: Measure from the bottom of the collar to the waist seam.
Shoulders: Measure between the top of the sleeve seams.

If you live in a warm climate and will be layering over light clothing such as a dress shirt or t-shirt, we recommend adding 2-3 inches to your measured chest size. If you live in a colder climate and layering over heavier clothing such as sweaters, we recommend adding 3-4 inches to your chest size. If you land between sizes, we recommend sizing up to the next size available. Tip: you should be able to comfortably zip or button your leather jacket all the way up, even if you plan to wear it open.

My newest Buffalo Jackson leather down jacket is one of those pieces that immediately makes you stop and think, “Alright. . . this is different!” First off, how often do you really come across a jacket made from full grain genuine lambskin leather that is also insulated with real down feathers? That alone makes it stand apart from most of what’s out there. The leather has that rich, slightly distressed look that gives it character right away, and it does not feel cheap or overly manufactured in any way. What surprised me most is how warm it actually feels. This thing clearly is not just designed to look good, it feels built to handle real winter weather. It has weight, structure, and presence, yet still remains comfortable enough to wear casually. To me, this is exactly where Buffalo Jackson tends to shine: they make pieces that feel distinctive, masculine, functional, and premium without trying too hard. This jacket definitely belongs in that category. So if you are on the fence about ANY of their products, my advice is to pull the trigger and don’t look back bc I guarantee you that eventually you’ll find yourself writing a similarly positive review yourself as well!"

"This is my second Buffalo Jackson jacket and just as I was expecting, it does not disappoint! So, after having a gorgeous shearling piece, this one caught my eye because it is SO unique! Think about it, on one hand it’s a 100% full grain Lambskin jacket, BUT, it’s also 80/20 down insulated! You do not see that combination every day. In fact, the 2 together keeps me nice and warm in the very harsh winters we have up here in Syracuse, NY. It came in a gorgeous, rich saddle like brown color that has a somewhat distressed look. The leather itself is buttery soft and stretches very nicely with movement. At the seems, you’ll notice at first just a few feathers poking through that will escape, but not that much. It features a thin, black polyester lining with a left interior chest pocket, as well as 2 zip up hand pockets. The collar is the perfect height where it wraps around your neck and keeps you snug and the antique brass zippers are a nice touch. It also comes with a cinch chord type of ensemble at the bottom hem so that you can have it hug your torso a bit more. Now sizing, compared to their other jackets, well at least compared to their shearling bomber one, it runs small by one size so whereas I had gotten a medium in the shearling, this one I had to order a large for that perfect fit. So for reference, I am short at 5’7, have a little bit of a Dad bod/stomach and weigh about 185lbs and the large fit me perfectly. The Lambskin of course will stretch with time to the contours of your body. If you are in any way on the fence about it, be rest assured that if you pull the trigger, you’re gonna be another customer leaving another 5 star review just like this one. Loretta in their customer service department is lovely and will take care of your sizing needs. I just can’t wait to see what future pieces they come out with for me to purchase!"
