"I am roaring drunk with the lust of life and adventure and unbearable beauty."
Everett Ruess wrote those words a few months before his disappearance into the barren Utah desert. A bold adventurer, artist, and writer, he tramped around the Southwest between the ages of 16 and 20 with one goal: oneness with nature. In 1934, at the age of twenty, he vanished. His body was never found. His legend lives on.

I throw my camps in all manner of places. I have slept under cedars, aspens, oaks, cottonwoods, pinyons, poplars, pines, maples, and under the sky, clouded or starry.
Our Everett Camel Leather Bag was designed so you can throw your camps wherever you choose. There is more than enough room for all you’ll need for an over-nighter or a weekend away out under the sky. Of course our camel leather bag will work just fine if you choose a trip away in the city too. Just make sure you get out under the trees every now and then.
