  • I’d never flown first class until about two years ago. I’d always been content in coach, still am actually. But a glitch in the system one day on a flight to Seattle snagged me an invitation to sit up beyond the curtain, and I said, “Sure.” I’d love to tell you there’s really no difference in first class vs. coach, but there is. And I believe it comes down to a difference in feel, in other words, how you feel. There’s probably a better word, but the only one that comes to mind is special.
