Born from the grit of the American West, the denim trucker jacket was once the armor of cowboys, miners, and railroad workers, men who built their lives under open skies. With the Driggs, we took that time-honored silhouette and elevated it in leather, blending rugged tradition with refined craftsmanship.
Crafted from 100% full-grain goat leather, the Driggs features antique brass buttons and classic seam detailing that pay homage to its denim roots. Two chest flap pockets and two welted side pockets provide utility and balance, while the interior includes an easy-clean polyester lining and an inside left chest pocket. Built to wear close to the body, this jacket runs a little trim, so size up and check the guide.
The leather trucker for the man who wants his denim-jacket silhouette built to last. Brown is the goat-leather original, soft and quick to break in. It is the kind of jacket that becomes your year-round go-to, and the more you wear it, the better it looks.

How to Measure Yourself
Shopping online, as most of us do nowadays, you’ll want to know your measurements to help ensure a great fit. The sketch below shows where to take measurements to compare to clothing you already own. Keep in mind, however, those measurements will only be helpful if taken correctly. Tip: don’t let the measuring tape hang loose when you’re measuring, but avoid pulling the tape excessively tight. Here’s how to get accurate measurements:
Length: Measure from the bottom of the collar to the waist seam.
Shoulders: Measure between the top of the sleeve seams.
Chest: Measure the entire circumference of your chest. Begin with one end of the measuring tape 1 inch below the armhole at the fullest part of your chest. Then, keeping the tape level, wrap it around (under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and back to the front) to get the measurement.
Sleeve: Accurately measuring sleeve length is tough to do yourself, so ask someone to help with this. Beginning with one end of the tape at the top of your arm, then down to your wrist. This entire length is your arm-length measurement.
How should a leather jacket fit?
Do the same rules apply to how a jacket should fit as to other jackets or outerwear? Not necessarily. Read on for details.
Leather will stretch over time, so you never want to start with a leather jacket that is too big. But that doesn’t mean you want a jacket that’s too small! It’s also essential to allow room for layers under your leather jacket. Here are a few specific tips for finding a leather jacket that fits just right:
Chest: Leather jackets ought to fit more snugly through the chest than a regular overcoat, but consider the types of layers you may want to wear underneath. If you live in a warm climate and will be layering over light clothing such as a dress shirt or t-shirt, we recommend adding 2-3 inches to your measured chest size. If you live in a colder climate and layering over heavier clothing such as sweaters, we recommend adding 3-4 inches to your chest size. If you land between sizes, we recommend sizing up to the next size available. Tip: you should be able to comfortably zip or button your leather jacket all the way up, even if you plan to wear it open.
Shoulders: Suit coat rules do not apply to leather jackets, so it's okay if the shoulder comes down your arm a few inches. However, even though the leather will give over time if the shoulder seam is higher than your shoulder, the jacket is too small.
Waist: The bottom of your leather jacket should not reach below the bottom of your belt/top of your thigh. This is likely shorter than other overcoats you've owned, but a leather jacket that hangs well below the belt is too big unless you're wearing a long leather trench coat.
Sleeve Length: The proper sleeve length on a leather jacket is consistent with pretty much any jacket: sleeves should end at your wrist.

Reviews
Sized Up
"I was in a quandary. The site sizing guide had me at 3XL. I'm 6'2" 250 lb. 46 chest and 38 Waist. I've never done a 3Xl ever. Well after a couple of emails w/Loretta (cust. spt. ), who recommended we stay the course, the 3XL jacket came in and is a perfect fit. Thanks to Loretta and Buffalo Jackson for providing me with a great leather jacket."
— James H. (5/5)
Almost perfect
"The leather is good quality. The liners on both my jackets need some work. Both have torn with very light use. I like the jackets overall, but I would expect a better quality liner for the price."
— Bobby D. (4/5)
Texas Heat Approved: Goat Leather > Cowhide
"I live in Texas and quickly realized that goat leather just makes more sense here than cowhide. I’m not working a ranch or riding a motorcycle, so goat leather is more than tough enough for my daily life. Plus, with the constant heat, it’s lighter, more comfortable, and way more wearable than heavy cow leather. Follow the sizing guide. Seriously. I normally wear a Large, but the guide recommended an XL—and it was spot on. I’m 5'10", 195 lbs with an athletic build. A Large would’ve fit like a leather body suit (not the vibe). Overall, I love this jacket. It looks amazing with jeans and a t-shirt… cowboy boots optional, but highly encouraged."

Beautiful leather jacket
"Purchased for a birthday gift for our son (soon to be 25). Beautiful jacket, fully lined, great feel. Our son seemed to really like the feel and wearability. Arrived quickly with expedient shipping. 5 solid stars"
— Kimberly G. (5/5)
This is a great jacket that will last me the rest of my life.
"It’s a great jacket, what more can I say. It was extremely stiff when I first received it. So, I put on for a couple hours every day and moved around it start breaking it in. The more I wore it the better it felt. It’s still not were I want it to be, but it will be soon. It’s extremely well made and proves the saying you get what you pay for to be true. It’s just quality all around."
— Nathan W. (5/5)
Everything I thought it would be
"I’ve been searching for a good quality leather jacket that really spoke to my style and would hold up well. This one is it. Once I got it in hand I was fully satisfied. Hope I’ll have it for a lifetime."
— John G. (5/5)
Never buying here again; decent jacket
"Jacket quality: 3. 5/5; The lining inside I wish was a bit tougher/higher quality. It’s super thin and feels like it’ll tear immediately if anything is caught on it. The jacket itself looks and feels great. I personally like things that feel heavy. Customer Service: 1/5 stars. Even if the jacket was perfect I can’t ever count on buying here again. Not for myself, a family member or a friend. My first order included a 15% discount. Two days after ordering, they send an email that they are all out of stock for that size. Okay no biggie, I’ll size up. On checkout the coupon no longer works. I repurchase the jacket and email them about honoring my previous price and I never had a response. It felt intentional since I previously reached out for info about sizing. Given that this issue was no fault of my own I expect at least a response. In my experience, once they have your money: they don’t care what happens. This is supported by their very limited warranty + shipping price on returns etc. See other reviews for more info on that. Bottom line: I can’t recommend them to anyone in the market of leather jackets."

Great jacket. Fits perfect and
"Great jacket. Fits perfect and the look is stunning. It’s a little stiffer then I expected but plan on wearing it often to break it in!"

"I'm 6'1" tall, I weigh 185 lbs, athletic build. Sleeves land mid hand, shoulder seems line up great, length is just below belt line. ."

Excellent jacket and customer service!!!
"First time buyer here. Watched Buffalo Jackson for YEARS as they grew their product line. Finally settled on a classic Driggs. Initially, purchased the cognac. Im 6'1", 230 lbs, went with the XXL based on reviews. Upon arrival sizing was right on, but coloring wasn't quite as expected (a bit more red than anticipated/pictured). Additionally there was a tad more "splotchy" characteristic to the tone, likely could have addressed with the treatment, but decided to swap for the brown. Customer service was shockingly responsive and understandng of the situation. They were a pleasure to work with. I'm very glad I did make the swap. The brown is surely more stiff than the cognac (sheep vs cow hide), but loving the coloring as im breaking it in. I treated it immediately with the BJ can of wax, which leveled off some of the natural characteristic of the tone upon receipt. Now its developing the tonal/wear narrative of the life I'm living in the jacket. I'm still on the break in journey, but getting a ton of great comments on it, many saying it looks like a jacket someone could buy for $1k. Great jacket for mild Colorado winter norms. I'm excited to buy more in the future! Thanks for everything Buffalo Jackson team!"
