It was a day trip to Phoenix. Fly in mid-morning, interview a potential client, fly out mid-afternoon, back in Denver before dark. All I needed was my laptop, some paper, and pens, charging cables, and two books (favorites of the potential client) – that’s it. I could have put it all in a backpack or a grocery bag for that matter. But first impressions mean something, and I really wanted this job.
So I grabbed my Denver Leather Briefcase Bag. It had ample room for everything I needed to carry, plus enough space to transport a Diamondbacks sweatshirt from the airport gift shop back home to my daughter. Needing to impress someone and making a good impression are not necessarily the same thing. Carrying this full grain leather briefcase went a long way towards the latter. And I got the job.
